Wholesale Overview
Glass candle jars should be purchased as production vessels, not simply by visual style. Usable wax fill, inner diameter, wall/base construction, rim/lid fit, decoration and the candle maker’s own burn-test plan all influence whether a jar works in a repeat candle program. Typical buyers include Candle brands, Contract candle manufacturers, Packaging distributors. For planning, From 1,000 pcs on selected existing glass candle-jar models. Typically about 7–10 working days for standard samples. Typically 25–35 working days after sample and decoration approval for standard programs. The recommended sourcing route is Jar + matching lid…

OEM & Customization
Customization can combine spray color, frosting / matte, silk-screen / decals / labels and metallic effects with matched wood / bamboo lids, metal lids and project-specific secondary packaging. Existing molds are preferred when speed and cost efficiency matter; custom mold development is suitable when the brand requires a proprietary shape or structure. Approve the actual decorated and assembled sample because glass/ceramic/metal surface, component fit and retail packaging can change the final result.
Packaging & Export
Packing for glass candle jars is planned from the real product shape, weight, decoration and accessory set. Separate jar walls, rims and bases; choose cell dimensions from the actual jar and lid configuration. Use clean sleeves or bags for frosted, sprayed, printed or metallic-effect jars to reduce rubbing. For branded programs, retail boxes or inserts should be sized from the approved assembled product. Master-carton quantity and pallet pattern should be confirmed against actual unit…

FAQ
Quick answers to the questions that most often affect product selection, sampling and quotation.
No. A container being made of glass does not automatically make it suitable for candle use. Select a model intended for candle applications and evaluate the complete candle system: vessel geometry, wax, fragrance load, wick, fill level and intended burn conditions.
Before launch, run controlled burn tests with production-representative jars. Decorative appearance alone is not enough to approve a vessel for a candle program.
Start with the planned usable wax fill, target burn format, wick layout, label area, lid, box and desired shelf presence. Review outside dimensions together with the internal diameter and actual usable volume.
A wider jar may require a different wick configuration from a tall narrow jar. Request the drawing and sample, then confirm fill weight, component fit and burn performance before production.
We can provide the jar dimensions needed for wick development, but a final wick specification must be validated with the actual candle formula. Wick performance changes with inner diameter, wax type, fragrance load, dye, wick material and the intended burn profile.
Use the vessel dimensions to select starting wick candidates, then complete repeated burn testing before approving the finished candle.
Match the lid to the exact finished jar opening and rim, including any insert, sealing ring or internal structure used by the lid. Nominal diameter alone is not enough to confirm fit.
Approve the jar-and-lid combination on production-representative samples, check opening and closing feel, and then confirm the assembled height and fit inside the final retail and export packaging.
